I am currently working with a successful and growing independent firm who specialise in Financial Planning and accountancy in their search for a trainee Paraplanner to join their close knit team in Dunfermline. As a trainee Paraplanner, you should already be working towards industry exams and have existing experience in an adviser support role at senior level whilst having gained exposure to some of the more technical aspects of support to include suitability reports. A great opportunity for someone already in the industry looking to develop their career, where full training and development support is provided. General task shall include but are not limited too. * Preparation for client meetings & annual reviews * Carrying out investment research & producing suitability reports * Processing new business applications * Carrying out fund switches & chasing up provider information * Updating client files i.e. valuations, risk assessments and fund fact sheets as well as drafting letter and filing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career towards being a fully pledged Paraplanner. Requirements Applicants must have industry experience either in a technical Adviser support role if not already working as a trainee Paraplanner with an understanding of the client journey and the technical elements of support e.g. suitability reports. Diploma Qualified or have made progress towards industry exams highly desired In return you shall be joining a professional practise that shall support you in achieving Paraplanning status working a hybrid model once fully trained.
