Main Accountabilities
Manage and lead Project Engineering within the SDS Engineering structure to provide the Portfolio management team with the capacity, competencies and behaviours for successful project execution ensuring SQDCP principles are followed
Responsible for ensuring that all performance Check-ins, 1-2-1’s are held in line with the mutually agreed frequencies with direct reports
Develop/mentor more junior members of team through technical coaching and mentoring, identify and train a successor, participate in all recruitment for SDS Engineering staff
Identify and lead implementation of opportunities for Continuous Improvement in every aspect of the SDS Engineering function, implement Lessons Learned, RCA, process change, LEAN etc
To provide support and engagement across the whole Drilling value stream to ensure activities are aligned from design to installation

Can manage the risk across multiple design tasks and approve the implementation of mitigations to meet the needs of the project
Can readily identify and lead an improvement initiative either on their own or as part of a team
Are flexible with travel
