rvices. This position would be perfect for someone with care experience looking to transition into children’s services. Help people with autism to complete daily activities, engage in education, integrate into the community and live their life to the fullest. Successful autism practitioners could earn £29,000 depending on experience and shifts undertaken.

A successful autism practitioner will be responsible for:
– Working effectively as part of a team of autism practitioners
– Providing 24 hours care to a vulnerable young people
– Taking service users out into the community
– Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
– Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays and Christmas period
To be successful in your application, you will:
– Have previous experience working in a care setting with children or adults with autism
– Have good knowledge of autism spectrum disorder
– Have strong communication skills- Makaton, BSL and experience with picture cards desirable but not essential
– Register under the PVG scheme
– Full driving licence
– Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
