12 Month Fixed Term Contract
My client is a manufacturing organisation based in the Fife area. They have an excellent opportunity for a Project Accountant to support them on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This will be working part time for 3 days, there is flexibility on what days can be worked.
Based within a small finance team, you will be hands-on and operational, with a focus on the following:
- Standard costing including reviewing of product margins and maintaining cost rates
- Reviewing, investigating, analysing manufacturing variances
- Supporting with project reporting and analysis
- Management reporting, preparing, analysing and reporting on performance to Site and Group
- Inventory stock reconciliation, analysis and identifying gaps
- Provide support with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Provide support with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting
- Provide additional support the wider finance team as required
Experience Required!
- Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Experience of working in manufacturing, engineering or supply chain
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience of preparing management accounts and ideally budgets and forecasting
- Confident IT skills, this should include MS Excel to advanced level and ERP and reporting systems
