Temp Estimator – Maternity cover – 9-12 months.
Your new company
This company have been operating for 40+ years within the construction market and have an excellent reputation for delivering high quality products. They mainly focus on new windows and door with their existing market selling direct to homeowners, they are now expanding due to recent success into a more commercial focused market subcontracting to councils and new housing developers. Due to this expansion they are looking for a estimator with a strong construction background to join their commercial department.
Your new role
In this role you will be in charge of all commercial pre-construction activates with a main focus on pricing and winning new work for the company. You will be working closely with the other estimators and the QS’s within the commercial team to assist with bringing in a higher volume of work to help with the companies considerable growth plans.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need a degree in construction management or an equivalent qualification, you will also need previous experience working in an estimating position within the construction industry. ideally this candidate will also have good communication skills and the ability to negotiate within a professional setting
