Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Location of Office: Dunfermline
Salary: Up to £58,000 + Benefits
The Role: A new position has now been created for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our clients growing team as they continue to work on a host of cutting edge and challenging software solutions for clients in the automotive, medical and aerospace sectors. Their office is based in the Dunfermline area with plenty of onsite parking available. This role will be office based for the first 3 months and then become a hybrid working role (60/40 split).
Skills and Experience Required:
- Embedded C/C++ programming
- Microcontroller development – ARM, PIC, STM, TI etc
- SPI, I2C, USB, RS485 etc
- Full lifecycle development
Our client is a design consultancy, meaning they are always working on a host of varied projects and the focus is always on new developments. Their clients vary but are mainly from the medical, automotive and aerospace sectors, meaning no two projects are the same and they are always looking to use modern technologies and processes in their developments.
This is a full design life cycle role, and the successful Embedded Software Engineer will have the chance to make a real impact in new product developments and should expect to contribute to all stages from initial concept, through design, prototyping, testing and documentation.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Wireless connectivity – BLE, WiFi etc
- C# application development
- Safety critical or highly regulated industry experience
