Commercial Assistant – Stagecoach East Scotland

Location: Dunfermline Head Office

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: £22,000 pa

Our award-winning team deliver essential bus services to the communities of Angus, Fife and Perthshire with over 32 million journeys made each year for work, school, shopping, health care and enjoying relaxation. East Scotland’s commercial team shape our network of services and manage our data to ensure customers have accurate information.

If you enjoy puzzles, figuring out patterns and trends then you might be ideal for this job.

You’ll spend most of your time:

Making sure our stagecoachbus app and website is working so customers can track their bus live

Using out new software to assist the team in planning our bus routes and timetables

Turning that into customer friendly journey and ticket information

Data reporting to stakeholders and managers

Don’t worry if that doesn’t sound much, we’ll keep you busy with this and there’s loads more so you’ll always have something a bit different to work on!

You’ll be joining a team of over 1,300 colleagues across East Scotland and be part of the bigger Stagecoach Group all working to serve our communities and offering you the opportunity to develop your career.

For a techy job you’ll be comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, and can quickly learn our other bespoke systems; don’t worry though, they are pretty easy to learn!
