Why not join one of our many teams of Catering Assistants in schools and nurseries within the Dunfermline Area .  We have a permanent vacancy to join our team in the following post:

  • Woodmill High School – 10 hours per week 38-week contract (as required)
  • You will earn a competitive salary of £20, pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £ per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
  • Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

  • This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it’s Breakfast Club, morning break or lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

    The Person

    Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
